Distribution of essential food items among 1600 families in Jamtali Rohingya Camp No. 16

Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation, under the program of regular monthly food distribution for the helpless Rohingyas residing in Bangladesh, provided necessary food to 1600 families in the Rohingya camps on February 2020 as well. Engineer Muhammad Nasir Uddin, Chairman of the Foundation, supervised the food distribution program from being present directly. Food was distributed in a very orderly manner with the staff volunteer of Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation under the supervision of the Bangladesh Army. According to the needs of the needy, this time the food list for each family was: 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of peas, 1 kg of soybeans, potatoes, onions, 1/2 kg of tea-leaves and salt, 200 g of chilli powder, 100 g Turmeric and coriander powder, 1/2 kg detergent a total package of about 12 kg with soap. After the food distribution, Engineer Muhammad Nasir Uddin, Chairman of Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation, said, “Like every month, this month too we have been able to complete the food distribution program among the helpless Rohingyas. We thank the concerned army officers for their overall cooperation.”
