A non-governmental organization (NGO) holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC)

On the occasion of World Water Rabies Day 2021, a special awareness program aimed at creating awareness about water rabies among the students of Mojar Pathshala conducted by Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation, an NGO registered by the Government of Bangladesh and a United Nations consultative status institution, was completed on September 29 at 3 pm at Chandgaon Thanadhin Foundation Complex in Chittagong city.The keynote speaker of the program, Israt Jahan Isha, president of One Health Young Voice Bangladesh, said through a PowerPoint slide presentation, "Children bear the highest rate of rabies in our country every year. Therefore, through this awareness program, we are trying to show the severity of rabies in children and what can be done to prevent it. To inform about and share ideas about One Health Health with him.On the other hand, General Member Md. Shahadat Hesen Palak and Md. Jahedul Hasan Rocky explained the various conditions of water rabies to the students through video screening.Alhaj Shamsul Haq Foundation Chairman Engineer Muhammad Nashir Uddin said that more awareness program initiatives will be taken in the future with the students of Mojar Pathshala.Under the management of Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation, Md Shawkat Arafat, Assistant Coordinator of the Foundation, served as the coordinator for the implementation of the program with the technical support of One Health Young Voice, Bangladesh. Foundation officers Sheikh Abdul Monir, Saifuddin Shimul along with volunteers Farooq, Sufian, General Member of One Health Young Voice Bangladesh Shanta Chakraborty, Ashraful and others were present. 30 students of the funny classroom along with their parents were present from the beginning till the end. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes in the respective subjects along with the quiz competition.
