Tubewell

About 36 families including Deldar Hossain of Charjatrapur, Majnu of Dharla, Fazli of Panchgachi are now quenching their thirsty hearts by drinking fresh water. Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation received a lot of applications for tube wells mainly due to various humanitarian works in the remote areas of Kurigram. Meanwhile, Umbrella Foundation, one of Chittagong's humanitarian organizations, has expressed its interest in 12 tubewells for really poor families. The chairman of the foundation, Engineer Muhammad Nashir Uddin, during his stay in Kurigram, personally conducted an on-site investigation and initially selected 12 places. In 12 places, specially for 3 families, and in some places, one tube well for at least 2 families will be installed. Recently, under the management of Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation with the funding of Umbrella Foundation, all the works of setting up tube wells in 12 places have been completed, Alhamdulillah.
